Julie graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2002 having taken a rather unorthodox route to becoming a vet! She originally trained as a Jewellery Designer and spent her twenties in London working for some of the large diamond houses. She made the decision to become a Vet in 1995.

After graduating, Julie returned to Kent and currently lives in her home village of Eastry with her husband, John and two dogs, Dora and Lily (both Labradors). She also has two rescued cats Lolly and Thomas as well as an ever increasing number of geese and chickens.

In December 2010 she opened White Cliffs Vets with Chris where they could offer the kind of veterinary medicine, care and service that they are both passionate about.

In 2014 Julie gained an award in Veterinary Behaviour with Sydney University to become a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists.
