Dr Akiko Shimada

Akiko recently graduated and has recently moved to the UK from Japan, having completed her studies in Romania. Akiko follows our New Graduate Programme where she is continually supported by a mentor to develop her skills and grow professionally. 

Akiko has 2 rescue dogs who she brought over from Japan. In her spare time she is getting to know the area and settling into her new life. She likes fishing and water sports and being outdoors.
